What went into this Riverview paver restoration?

The first part of the video shows the condition of the open pool deck before restoration. Our team then professionally pressure cleaned the pavers and joints, removing accumulated buildup and preparing the surface for the next stages of the project.

After cleaning, fresh joint sand was restored where needed before the sealing process began.

For this particular pool deck, Premier Pro Wash & Seal applied three coats of sealer.

But here's an important distinction:

We don't automatically recommend three coats of sealer for every pool deck.

These pavers had never previously been sealed, and after evaluating their condition, we determined they could appropriately accept the three-coat application.

Pool decks deserve additional consideration because water and foot traffic are part of their everyday environment. Applying more sealer simply because “more must be better” isn't our philosophy. The paver material, porosity, previous sealing history, selected sealing system and finished surface all need to be considered, including traction around a wet area.

For another pool deck, our recommendation could be different.

That's one of the reasons experience matters in professional paver cleaning and sealing. The goal isn't to apply the most product possible. It's to use the process appropriate for the pavers we're responsible for restoring.

Premier Pro Wash & Seal has completed 4,200+ paver sealing projects and professionally sealed more than 4.5 million square feet of pavers and natural stone throughout Tampa Bay.
