What actually happens during professional driveway pressure washing?

This time-lapse from Premier Pro Wash & Seal shows our driveway cleaning process from start to finish: pre-treatment, professional surface cleaning, rinsing and concrete post-treatment.

The process begins before the pressure washer does.

We first pre-treat the concrete with an appropriate professional cleaning solution. This helps loosen and break down mold, algae and other organic buildup so we're not relying solely on water pressure to clean the surface.

Next comes the mechanical cleaning. Professional surface-cleaning equipment allows us to pressure wash the driveway consistently across the concrete, helping create a more uniform appearance than simply cleaning the entire area with a pressure-washing wand.

After surface cleaning, we thoroughly rinse the area to remove loosened buildup and residue.

And the job isn't necessarily finished just because the pressure washer has been turned off.

On appropriate concrete surfaces, Premier uses a post-treatment after pressure washing to address remaining organic discoloration and help create a cleaner, more even finished appearance.

That's an important distinction between simply owning a pressure washer and understanding professional exterior cleaning.

Professional pressure washing isn't about using more pressure. It's about using pressure correctly.

Premier Pro Wash & Seal has completed more than 2,300 driveway and sidewalk cleanings and more than 10,000 exterior cleaning projects throughout Tampa Bay.

Depending on shade, tree cover, moisture, drainage, rainfall and other conditions around the property, many Florida driveways benefit from professional cleaning approximately every 6 to 18 months.

If your concrete driveway or sidewalks are showing mold, algae, dirt or Florida buildup, contact Premier Pro Wash & Seal for a free pressure-washing estimate.
