How long will the sealer last?

Make your property look it's best

On average, our professional-grade sealers will last 2-3 years. Driveway wear and tear brings the lifespan down to about 2 years since they sit directly in the sun and have heavy vehicular traffic throughout the year. For pool decks or heavily shaded areas, you can expect longer longevity. The first seal does not last as long as subsequent seals because the pores have not been filled in completely yet. So each application actually expands the lifetime of your pavers and travertine! Sealed travertine will need to be resealed every 2 years. This is because it is a much more dense substrate compared to pavers which are very absorptive. The unique benefit of our sealer is it has a component which stabilizes and hardens the sand in-between the joint spaces. This helps to significantly mitigate approximately 60% to 85% of your future weeds. Depending on your surrounding environment, the results may be even better. Despite what some claim, no sealing product exists that can successfully and consistently guarantee 100% weed prevention, and we are honest people. Open areas such as driveways, walkways, and patios will always be more prone to weeds compared to a screened in lanai.
