Identify and treat any visual stains such as: Rust stains, Irrigation stains, Oil stains, Grease stains,Efflo, And more! Neutralize the chemicals used to pre-treat. This is vital to prevent an adverse reaction to the sealer later on in the process. Pretreat the pavers to help lift and remove the grime hidden on the surface and in-between. Wash the pavers with surface cleaners running 8 gallons per minute in two different directions to promote and guarantee a cleaner and more robust washing. Re-sand with a sand that has been cleaned and filtered. When possible, we prefer to sand using a water technique known as wet sanding to help pack the sand in place. This option is not always the best choice due to different circumstances. Sweep then vacuum any excess sand found in door tracks, lanai frames, behind doors and columns, and other sneaky places. Let the sealing begin! If sealing a pool deck, we hand paint the sealer on the coping to limit any unnecessary sand from entering the pool. For driveways, we will rope off the bottom of the driveway and sidewalks to eliminate unwanted vehicle traffic, foot traffic, or those riding bicycles. During sealing, we take proper precautions by using a shield to minimize overspray. One technician is dedicated to look for and fix any accidental overspray on the spot! We take no risks while sealing and strive to provide you with clean and beautiful pavers. We provide 3 different packages based on the number of coats of sealer and sand.
