The ultimate goal is to safeguard the material and give you peace of mind over your investment. Pavers and travertine will last longer when they are sealed and maintained regularly. Sealed pavers and travertine prevent staining liquids from penetrating as deep, making cleanups and maintenance much easier. The sand stabilizes and color enhancements are just icing on the cake!

Most weeds, but you might still need to pluck a few now and then. Anyone who claims that their products will stop the weeds 100% are lying to you!

The unique benefit of our sealer is it has a component which stabilizes and hardens the sand in-between the joint spaces. This helps to significantly mitigate approximately 60% to 85% of your future weeds. Depending on your surrounding environment, the results may be even better.

Despite what some claim, no sealing product exists that can successfully and consistently guarantee 100% weed prevention, and we are honest people.

Open areas such as driveways, walkways, and patios will always be more prone to weeds compared to a screened in lanai.

Sealing pavers is like waxing a car — It protects the surface and makes it harder for dirt to become embedded on the surface.

On average, our professional-grade sealers will last 2-3 years.

Driveway wear and tear brings the lifespan down to about 2 years since they sit directly in the sun and have heavy vehicular traffic throughout the year.

For pool decks or heavily shaded areas, you can expect longer longevity.

The first seal does not last as long as subsequent seals because the pores have not been filled in completely yet. So each application actually expands the lifetime of your pavers and travertine!

Sealed travertine will need to be resealed every 2 years. This is because it is a much more dense substrate compared to pavers which are very absorptive.

The goal is to slow down the mold by 60-80%. Sealing helps prevent the mold from penetrating deep into the pores of the stone. This forces mold spores to stay on the surface of the sealed pavers or travertine, allowing it to be cleaned easily.

Nothing can guarantee 100% mold from returning. We live in a tropical environment encompassed with a copious amount of rain and humidity throughout the year. But we can make it difficult for them to stick around and that’s exactly what sealing does!

When you join our maintenance program, you receive regular cleanings and when it’s time to reseal, you pay the same amount! Your loyalty is rewarded with a locked in price that isn’t affected by annual rate increases.

During maintenance cleanings, we:

  1. Chemically wash the pavers
  2. Take care of any pestering weeds
  3. Give it a nice wash and rinse

It is a great program for our snowbird clients and those with a busy work lifestyle!

We give you 4 months from the day of sealing to decide if you want to join our maintenance program. There is no contract and can cancel at any time.

You should retain 60-75% of your sand levels. The locations that will lose sand the fastest include:

  • Right below a roof line
  • The bottom of driveways
  • Where the coping meets the pavers

This is due to high traffic, splashing of pools, and areas where standing water forms.

Yes, Premier Pro Wash & Seal promises that for up to 3 years our sealer will not:

  • Trap moisture
  • Yellow
  • Delaminate
  • Flake

If any other pressure washing or paver sealing contractor works on the pavers after it was sealed by Premier Pro Wash & Seal, the warranty is void.

Also, we cannot warranty the sealer if it’s been sealed before unless the old sealer is stripped off.

We recommend waiting 60 days to allow efflorescence to present itself. Do not seal your pavers immediately after installation.

Absolutely! The right sand at the proper level helps to keep the pavers from shifting and collapsing.

We use sand that has been filtered from any impurities and nutrients. This helps to significantly reduce mold in-between the pavers. Do not use play sand or “paver sand” commonly found at popular box stores! These sands have not been filtered and are a breeding ground for mold.

Driveways will always grow more weeds because it’s an open area. Grass cuttings, animals, and the wind will carry seeds. These are common issues that cannot be completely stopped just by sealing.

I cannot scream from the rooftops loud enough to stress the importance of using a water-based sealer while living in Florida. We seek only the best water-based sealers, ones guaranteed to hold up to the rain and humidity without fail.

While solvents or oil-based sealers hold up elsewhere, they have a poor track record here because of the tropical environment. They trap moisture which results in severe blotchiness, flaking, an appearance white haze, and peeling.

No, we will only apply sealers we know, trust, and have accredited. We want our customers to be completely satisfied and only use products with a long history of success.

If your pavers are sitting directly on concrete or an existing deck underneath, please let us know for an accurate estimate. We will use this information to determine the length of time needed to complete the project. Paver sealing on an existing deck will take 2 to 3 days on average.

  1. Identify and treat any visual stains such as:
    • Rust stains
    • Irrigation stains
    • Oil stains
    • Grease stains
    • Efflo
    • And more!
  2. Neutralize the chemicals used to pre-treat. This is vital to prevent an adverse reaction to the sealer later on in the process.
  3. Pretreat the pavers to help lift and remove the grime hidden on the surface and in-between.
  4. Wash the pavers with surface cleaners running 8 gallons per minute in two different directions to promote and guarantee a cleaner and more robust washing.
  5. Re-sand with a sand that has been cleaned and filtered. When possible, we prefer to sand using a water technique known as wet sanding to help pack the sand in place. This option is not always the best choice due to different circumstances.
  6. Sweep then vacuum any excess sand found in door tracks, lanai frames, behind doors and columns, and other sneaky places.
  7. Let the sealing begin!
    • If sealing a pool deck, we hand paint the sealer on the coping to limit any unnecessary sand from entering the pool.
    • For driveways, we will rope off the bottom of the driveway and sidewalks to eliminate unwanted vehicle traffic, foot traffic, or those riding bicycles.
    • During sealing, we take proper precautions by using a shield to minimize overspray.
    • One technician is dedicated to look for and fix any accidental overspray on the spot!

We take no risks while sealing and strive to provide you with clean and beautiful pavers. We provide 3 different packages based on the number of coats of sealer and sand.

The salts within the stones wick to the top when moisture exposure is constant. This white film is called efflorescence or “efflo”.

Typically, when a home is built, the front porch or back patio is a concrete slab. If the homeowner decides to add a pool or paver patio, the paver contractor installs thin set pavers over the concrete slab to match the thick pavers elsewhere.

The pavers laying directly on sand and soil naturally allow moisture to evaporate much faster. But the thin set of pavers sitting on concrete cannot dry out as quickly as the thick pavers because the moisture gets trapped in between. This constant exposure to moisture provides the perfect recipe for more efflorescence.

No, unfortunately not. We do not recommend poly sand in our area because it creates a haze. Our sealers stabilize sand that admittedly, doesn’t hold up as long as poly sand. In our professional opinion, the disadvantages of using poly sand in Florida outweigh the rewards.

After 48 hours, driving and lawn care may proceed as usual.

All of our sealers come in:

  • Enhanced: This provides a light sheen and is often referred to as a “wet look”.
  • Natural: These sealers do not change the appearance of the pavers or travertine.

A high gloss effect is provided by solvent or oil based sealers which we do not recommend.

A forecast of a chance of rain isn’t going to stop us from giving it a try that day.

Why?

Because water based sealers can be applied safely, even if the pavers are slightly damp. Sealing with standing water is never recommended but damp pavers won’t hurt the sealer at all.

One of the main reasons we use and encourage clients to use water-based sealers is because of their ability to withstand the rain and humidity throughout the year. The likelihood of a quality, two-part water-based sealing failing is minimal.

If we seal your pavers or travertine and it is allowed to dry for 30 minutes to 1 hour before it rains, the sealer will not fail. If it does, we will fix it at our own cost.

As an added assurance, we will do a quality check the next business day on any job that was rained on if it rained within 2 hours of the sealing.

Stripping off old sealer on pavers is very caustic work. It is very tedious work but it’s more economical than replacing the pavers.

There are several things to be aware of when stripping off an old sealer. Risks include:

  • Loss of paint on the frames, walls, columns, etc.
  • Nearby landscaping and grass dying
  • Pool contamination

If your pool turns green due to the stripper (not very common) it takes an average of 6-12 days for an experienced pool cleaning technician to clear the water. If this happens, let us know and we will connect you with a trusted technician to handle this task.

We will do everything we can to minimize any risks. Our track record is excellent for keeping these issues to an absolute minimum, but we will not cover the cost of repair should they occur.

I was very pleased with this company from my very first phone call to them. They quickly sent a representative out to give an estimate, they worked with me patiently while I was going back and forth with the company I work for, and all associates were very polite and well mannered. My schedule changed a few times but they continued to accommodate me and my needs. They projected the work to take 3 days to complete with one crew doing the work. I was very, pleasantly, surprised that on the start date they were able to send 4 crews out to complete the work quickly and efficiently. That was important to me because I manage a high traffic storage facility and I was concerned with the work interrupting my tenants.During the entire process, from the first call and still currently, 2 weeks after work was completed, they have followed up, came to the site to verify and touched up questionable areas.Needless to say, I'm very satisfied with the work completed and the entire staff. I also LOVE the fact that this is a Veteran owned, small business.

Premier Pro Wash & Seal is second to none! They displayed professional service promptly, with extreme attention to detail. I recently called during a busy holiday weekend and left a voicemail. Surprisingly, I received a prompt return call the next working day. I expressed my areas of concern, and they provided me with a thorough explanation of their process, received a quote, and an appointment scheduled, and the project was completed within 72 hours. Hands down the best service I have received in the area since I moved here. I 💯 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
