We like to surface clean in both directions to ensure a nice, even clean to get as much of the debris out between the pavers as possible. Prepping is absolutely critical prior to sealing. If paver prepping is done incorrectly, the sealer can have an adverse reaction. Cleaning with a surface cleaner is one of the first steps of the paver sealing process.
