Turning on and off the heat option on this 8 GPM pressure pro. We use this process so we do not blow out the thermostat. After adopting this method, we have had zero issues

[0:00] All right. In this episode, we're going to show you how to properly turn on and turn off the heat. This machine here does have heat. That's what this is here. But to do so, there is a way to do it. You can't just flip the switch. So, in this video, because this machine is so loud, we're simulating that this is actually already turned on. So, again, pretend that the machine is on and you're you're going to turn on the heat. So, in order to do so, flip the switch. That'll light up, let you know that it's on. But when you go to turn the

[0:33] thermostat up, you want to do it in increments. So, you start out there, let it set for a couple seconds, turn it up a little more. Again, let it set for a couple seconds. And then typically, we're somewhere between 160 and 180 on our heat that we like to use when we're working with oil or grease and we got a degreaser down. Or just a really nasty stain. Now, when it comes to turning it off, it's just simply reversing those steps. You never want to just shut this down and turn it off.

[1:04] You'll blow out the thermostat. So, there is a reason. So, again, turn it off, it's just slow increments. You're just slowly turning it down so that we don't blow out the thermostat until you get to off and then you let that sit for a few seconds and then you turn it off. And that's how you properly turn on and off the heat on one of these machines.
