Intro to the basics – How to turn on and off the machine

[0:03] foreign we're going to talk about how to turn on and turn off the machine now when you're turning on the machine for the first time that day you're going to want to pull the choke out and throttle the machine down about halfway again for the first turn on of the day you want to pull the choke out any other time when you go to your next job you won't have to pull the choke out it's just that first start of the day or

[0:34] unless it's been several several hours before it's time to start it again so when it's time to start it you pull the choke out for the first time make sure your throttle is turned about halfway down what you don't want to do is start the machine with the throttle all the way up instead you want to start it about halfway down turn it on once it's ran for a few seconds we'll push the choke in and start throttling the machine up

[1:11] Now to turn the machine off it's the opposite we're gonna throttle the machine down some more before we turn it off we're not going to just turn the machine off with the fully throttled still and that's very important because that just that doesn't put a lot of pressure and unnecessary stress on the machines so that first start of the day make sure

[1:43] you throttle it down and then gradually uh after it started gradually raise it back up and then when it's time to turn it off make sure you throttle it down first and then turn the machine off
