We often have to change out our tips on our surface cleaners due to their constant, everyday use. We do a lot of paver sealing so cleaning pavers and dealing with the sand while washing causes the tips to wear down much faster than normal. Changing the tips is a relatively simple thing to do. In this particular situation, the surface cleaner was vibrating. One of the Premier Pro Wash & Seal technicians noticed one of the two tips was clogged. While checking, we saw how worn out the tips were. For this surface cleaner, it is a two tip bar so we used two 25045 tips. The first two numbers represent the degree (25 degree tips) and the last two numbers represent the gallons per minute. Since we use an 8 GPM machine, the two tips have to at least add up to 8 GPM. In this case, it adds up to 9 but that's okay…as long as it's at least 8. For our other 4 tip bar, we would use 2502 or 25025 tips. Hope this helps

[0:00] hey guys show me forest here with premier pro wash and seal I just want to do a quick little video and show you how we're going to change out the tips and the reason we're changing out the tips I've got an old tip that we just took off of our whisper wash we run two whisper wash machines they're two both 19-inch we got to change these out fairly often because we do so much paver sill in and all that sand and debris that we clean up on a daily basis just don't take long easily over a couple

[0:31] months it'll in a where I'm out and this one's wore out pretty much to the knob the other tip was completely clogged and so that's what was causing all the vibration so after we took a look I'll show you you can kind of look on this how it's wore down this is how it's supposed to be so you can see the difference on that again this is a really quick easy fix we're changing them out now but what they don't wanted to go over is if you

[1:02] are changing your tips you're going to notice there's some numbers on the side here and on this one it's a 2500 for five so what what does that mean well we'll run in a gallon minute machine and we got a 4:00 tip surface cleaner and we have a two tip surface cleaner the 25 what it stands for is that's just a degree a lot of guys run 25 degree tips we liked it 25 degree tips some run 40 degree tips I think the most standard

[1:33] that you'll see especially on the whisper wash is almost always it's a 25 degree tip but that can be changed out the other set of numbers represents how many gallons a minute so again we're running a gallon a minute machine so if we're running two tips these four five times two equals nine gallons a minute so you always want it to equal at least how many gallons per minute it's going to be running off the machine so if you had a let's say six gallon minute

[2:04] machine this would be a 2503 or 2503 five we like it to be just a little bit more than so what I mean by that instead of a 2504 we like our pressure down just so slightly less than than what a 2504 would be so that's why we run a 25 oh four or five so that equals nine gallons a minute it's just a little bit less pressure I'm sorry if that's a little confusing but it's got a the the most important thing is it's got to equal out at least how many gallons a minute you

[2:36] have so for our four tip surface cleaner this would be 2502 and if you have four tips at two four six eight so and so on so you understand the concept but that's very important to know what these numbers are and what they mean so I hope that helps someone we're going to put a little tape on here and put that on there and we'll be back in business in no time total time to change out these tips is about five minutes and that's one of the first things you want to

[3:06] check if you're having a lot of vibration with the surface cleaner first thing you want to check is your your tips and see if they're clogged so we had a clog tip and we noticed our tips was wore down to the nub so we're going to kill two birds with one stone so thanks for looking or thanks for watching this is Jeremy for us
