What happens when weeds start taking over the joints of a paver pool deck? Watch this transformation in Lithia, Florida.
When Premier Pro Wash & Seal arrived, this pool deck had extensive weed growth pushing through the paver joints along with accumulated dirt, mold, and organic buildup. Simply washing the surface wasn't going to be enough.
Our paver restoration process started with a thorough pressure washing. A turbo nozzle was used where appropriate to help remove the stubborn weeds and growth from between the pavers. Once the pool deck was cleaned and prepared, we installed fresh joint sand to restore the depleted paver joints.
The final step was applying multiple coats of a quality water-based paver sealer. Our sealing process helps stabilize and harden the joint sand, making it more difficult for weeds to establish themselves while also helping protect the paver surface and enhance its appearance.
Important: Paver sealing cannot guarantee that weeds will never return. Windblown seeds and organic material can eventually settle into joints, but properly cleaning, sanding, and sealing pavers can make ongoing maintenance considerably easier.
