Here we are neutralizing the acid after treating multiple times for efflorescence. We are using a degreaser but baking soda is another option as well to neutralize the acid. If you fail to do so, an adverse reaction with the sealer will occur if mixed with the acid and not neutralized.
[0:00] all right so now that we've already pre treated and and hit these pavers with efflorescence three tops and then we rinse it off now we have to neutralize it you always want to neutralize the acid before you ever put a sealer on and it's just a good habit evening but if you don't neutralize the acid before you put a sealer on the sealer will actually have an adverse reaction and it will cause the sealer to fail so you always want to neutralize that acid before moving on to the next step so all you
