Changing the O Rings is an easy fix. If you notice a ton of leaking around the connections then the first place to troubleshoot is your O Ring inside. They naturally wear out over time but using heat expedites that since they’re made of rubber. This video explains how to change them out
[0:00] alright guys what to do if you notice that you've got a lot of leaking going on a lot of times it'll happen right where you got two hoses connected this has a hundred feet or I'm sorry 50 feet 1/2 inch hose and then it's got a 150 feet of 3/8 hose and then we use the heat a lot so it causes these o-rings to go out pretty quickly so if you look and you see these connections and there's a
[0:30] lot of leaking going on or around your gun connections if you've got a lot of leaking going around there it's just simply your o-ring it's really simple anything up to the gun up to this point is a 3/8 hole ring anything after the gun from this point on is usually 1/4 of an o-ring but you can see I don't know if you can see in there this is pretty beat-up I'm sure the video doesn't really show it
[1:02] but I just like to use these like a little hemostats you can use dental picks anything but you can see that just split right in half so I've already got another one ready just stick that down in there there's a little lip in there and it just sits right in there
[1:34] oops usually this only takes just a couple of seconds but of course I'm on video so it's taking a little bit longer anyway you just push it along this little Ridge that it has and then it'll make sure it's even all the way around pack it in and that's it that will
[2:08] eliminate your leaking from your hose your quick connects you're done that's the very first thing you want to troubleshoot is just check your o-ring and as you can see it's really simple
